Colonsay Book Festival 2023

This wonderful festival has over the years hosted authors such as Alexander McCall Smith, Ian Rankin and Val McDiarmid.

In other years, the line up included James Naughtie (Today programme and author), Denise Mina (acclaimed crime writer), Hew Strachan (one of the UK's most eminent military historians) and Jim Crumley (nature writer and poet) as well as Julie Davidson (TV presenter, journalist and biographer of Mrs Livingstone) and Jacob Polley (prize winning poet and novelist).
